EAST OF MACHINING

"AFFIX's" wood is easy to work with using various woodworking tools. This is a valuable trait as it allows for efficient shaping, cutting, and carving without excessive effort or tool wear.

SMOOTH FINISH

After sanding, staining, and polishing, "AFFIX" wood provides a smooth and attractive surface. This smooth finish enhances the appearance of the final product and can make it more appealing for decorative or functional purposes.

GOOD NAILING & GLUING PROPERTIES

The wood's ability to hold nails and adhere well to glues indicates that it forms strong and reliable joints. This is important in woodworking to ensure the durability and stability of assembled pieces.

QUICK DRYING WITH MODERATE SHRINKAGE

The wood dries at a reasonably fast pace, which can be advantageous for completing projects in a timely manner. Additionally, the moderate shrinkage suggests that the wood retains its structural integrity during the drying process.

DIMENSIONAL STABILITY AFTER KILN DRYING

Kiln drying is a method used to reduce the moisture content of wood, which helps prevent warping, twisting, or other forms of distortion. The fact that "AFFIX" wood remains dimensionally stable after this process is a positive feature.

  • Chromium - 65.50 %

  • Copper - 18.10 %

  • Arsenic - 16.40 %

FINGER JOINT

Natural lengthy wood may be break & warp but finger jointed size would not bending with atmospheric effect. Finger jointing is the process to join many pieces of wood in order to form one stronger piece. This joining adds much strength; better surface looking, cheaper and more efficient piece of wood.
